Hi, I’m Gemma, a professional home organiser and stylist based in South Gloucestershire.

 

I’m also a single mum to two children, Aaliyah (16) and Emerson (10), and two chihuahuas, so I understand first-hand what it feels like to be juggling work, family life, and the constant mental load that comes with it.

The Home Edit Bristol began over three years ago during a very personal period in my life. I was navigating change and uncertainty, and I found that creating order in my home gave me something steady to hold onto.

 

Even when life felt overwhelming, my space became something I could care for, shape, and bring back into balance. It didn’t fix everything, but it gave me clarity, calm, and a sense of control when I needed it most.

That experience led me to a simple thought:

 

What if I could help other people feel this too?

 

What if transforming a home could also lift the weight people are carrying mentally and emotionally?
